A methodology built to work alongside yours.
For the clinicians who know structured, continued movement is missing from the picture.
You see it regularly. A patient completes physiotherapy and leaves with a home exercise program — there is a high likelihood they will not follow it. A client manages their neurological condition well clinically, but has no structured movement support between appointments. Someone is cleared to exercise but has no idea where to start — and the generic gym environment isn’t equipped to help them.
The Preston Method™ was designed for exactly that gap.
What TPM offers your clients
TPM is not a replacement for clinical care. It is the structured, accountable movement practice that extends and supports it — with ongoing tracking, progress documentation, and clear reporting back to your team so nothing falls through the cracks.
When you refer a client to a TPM practitioner, you are connecting them with:
- A thorough neuromotor and functional movement assessment
- A progressive, individualized program built from that assessment
- Ongoing accountability through regular check-ins and reassessment
- A practitioner who understands neurological conditions, post-rehabilitation movement, and the complexity of real clinical presentations
- Clear, structured reporting back to you on client progress upon request or approval
Your clinical work sets the foundation. TPM supports it — consistently, progressively, and with full respect for your treatment goals.

How referrals work
The referral process is simple and low-friction.
You submit a referral through our professional referral form — including any relevant clinical context you are comfortable sharing. Your client is contacted, an assessment is scheduled, and a summary of findings is made available to you following the assessment, upon request or by approval.
From there, with your patient or client’s consent, you are kept in the loop as they progress — with the level of communication that works best for your practice.
Looking ahead — TPM Practitioner Certification
The Preston Method™ is currently developing a formal practitioner certification program — PMP-1 — launching in 2026.
PMP-1 will train and certify movement practitioners in the full TPM methodology, creating a growing network of qualified practitioners equipped to serve neurological, post-rehabilitation, and complex movement clients across a range of clinical settings.
If you are a movement professional interested in learning more about TPM practitioner training, we would love to hear from you.
